"Please don't go, oh, please don't go! We'll eat you up we love you so!"
Fun Fact: Soon after being published, Maurice Sendak's book "Where the Wild Things Are," was challenged by many for it's "frightening imagery" and depiction of rebellion; despite the challenges it has faced in the past, the picture book continues to be a work beloved by children and adults alike.
In honor of Banned Book Week the library will be showing the film, "Where the Wild Things Are" on Sept. 28th, 2024, at 2:30pm.
This program is free for patrons of all ages.
A special thanks to the Tulare Noon Kiwanis for sponsoring movies at the library 📽
